This book was curated during one of the most difficult chapters of my life, as I recovered from a life-altering spinal cord surgery. In those long months, returning to my photographs was more than memory—it was medicine. Each image reminded me of the better times I’d lived, and each page offered me a glimpse of the better times I still believed were waiting ahead.
Gathering these pictures became a way of stitching myself back together, one frame at a time. It was how I reconnected with my art, with my purpose, and with the promise that beauty still waits in the world if only we slow down and see it.
