Rhode Island Seascape & Landscape Photography Prints
I’ve been photographing the Rhode Island coast for over 30 years, and here’s the truth: I could be standing at the base of the most beautiful scene, and I’m staring at the ground looking for a good rock. That’s the job. Somewhere in all those mornings, I’ve come home with a few pictures I’m actually proud of, and the best ones end up as prints you can hang on your own wall.
This fall I’m moving to Venice, Florida, so keep an eye out. A few sunsets from down there are already showing up in the galleries. It’s the Gulf Coast, so the sun goes down over the water instead of coming up over it. Same camera, same guy, just chasing the light in a second spot now.

Seascape Prints
Ocean shots — sunrise, storm light, whatever the water was doing that morning. These are the ones I keep coming back to shoot, year after year.
Landscape Prints
The inland stuff — hills, rivers, fields, the occasional lonely tree. Less predictable than the coast, which is half of why I like shooting it.

Everything that didn’t fit in land or sea — night shots, cars, still life, whatever caught my eye that didn’t belong anywhere else.
Why People Hang These On Their Walls
Every print here started as me standing somewhere at an inconvenient hour, waiting for the light to do something worth stopping for. I can’t tell you exactly why a photo of a place you’ve never been ends up meaning something on your wall — but it happens more than you’d think.
A Break From the Screen
Most of what’s on our walls these days is a TV or a calendar. A print doesn’t need charging and it won’t buzz at you at 9pm. That’s most of the pitch, honestly.
30 Years of Doing This
I’ve been doing this over 30 years — press coverage and gallery shows, corporate offices, medical waiting rooms, plenty of living rooms. The Signature Series, my limited editions, I print myself. Open Edition prints, paper and metal, are made by Blazing Editions in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. I’ve worked with them for years and they do gorgeous work. People I know, people who have shown me around their facility, and people I trust completely with my images. Either way, I’m the one you’ll actually talk to if something’s not right.

When a Print Starts a Conversation
Sometimes a single print starts a conversation. At a medical lab, one of my seascapes hung behind the check-in counter, and when I introduced myself, staff from every corner came over to meet me and tell me their own stories about it.
