Hi, I’m Mike. Photographer, veteran, storyteller, printer, webmaster, receptionist, IT team, and occasionally coffee-fetcher. Basically, the whole staff around here—all rolled into one guy with a camera.
Why I Pick Up a Camera
Photography for me isn’t just about clicking a shutter. It’s about noticing the quiet moments, the light slipping over the dunes, the rhythm of waves, and capturing what makes your chest feel a little lighter. My goal? To take a world that feels overwhelming and rearrange it until it breathes.
My Journey
From serving in the Air Force to navigating life with a spinal cord injury, I’ve learned a lot about resilience, perspective, and seeing beauty in unexpected places. Photography became more than a hobby—it became my lens for understanding the world and sharing stories with others.
Behind the Scenes
I do it all. From shooting and printing to maintaining the website and managing orders, I’m in every step of the process. This hands-on approach means every print, every image, every story carries my fingerprints (figuratively and sometimes literally).

The Feel Behind the Frame
I could talk tech all day—exposure, ISO, the Sunny 16 rule—but the bottom line is feeling. Each image is meant to make you pause, breathe, and notice something you might otherwise miss. Landscapes, seascapes, or fleeting moments of light—they all carry emotion first.
Where My Work Lives
My prints are in galleries, offices, medical waiting rooms, restaurants, and even an ice cream shop. Every space deserves a moment of pause and a little visual calm, and that’s what I aim to provide. Real emotion, real places, real people experiencing the work.
More Than a Photographer
I like to think of myself as approachable—someone you’d want as your uncle, the guy you could have a beer with and talk light, color, and life. My work is personal, but my goal is universal: help people feel grounded, inspired, and reminded that beauty still exists—even on chaotic days.
