Fall in Rhode Island is full of beautiful, fleeting scenes—and this one almost passed me by. Driving down Rte. 102, I caught this moment out of the corner of my eye and had to pull a quick U-turn.
Two small boats drew my attention immediately, their forms simple and quiet, while the red of the canoe echoed the fiery autumn leaves. I framed the scene to highlight the harmony between water, boats, and foliage, capturing the fleeting warmth and vibrancy of the season.
