Buttonwood Farm in Griswold, Connecticut draws me back year after year for its Sunflower Festival, but it’s not just the sunflowers that captivate me. Across from the ice cream stand, two trees quietly stand on a gentle hill. Every visit, I find myself photographing them, drawn to their calm presence and timeless elegance.
During this shoot, the setting sun painted the sky in warm golden tones, perfectly highlighting the trees’ silhouettes. Trees on a Hill Silhouette celebrates the quiet drama of nature—the simple, enduring beauty of land, light, and shadow in perfect harmony.
