For my birthday, I spent the weekend on Block Island. On the first afternoon, I scouted out this beach, thinking it just might be a good place to watch the sunrise. The next morning, I hit the streets at 4 a.m. and enjoyed a peaceful walk along the shoreline, searching for just the right spot.
The rock made for a perfect foreground. I set up my camera, cranked up my music, and stood back as Mother Nature did her beautiful work. Moments like this don’t ask for anything—just your attention. I consider myself truly blessed to witness mornings like this.
