What This Book Is
Hope covers about six years of my life – working through an injury, dealing with the parts of it nobody warns you about, and slowly finding my way back to taking pictures again. It’s mostly full-color photography, with a short passage next to each image about where I was and what was going on when I took it.
I put this together because photography is what got me through it, and I wanted to put that down somewhere real rather than polished up. If you’ve been through something hard yourself, maybe some of it lands. If not, it’s still just a book of photos I’m proud of.
