What This Book Is

Through My Eyes is less about the six years I write about in Hope and more just about paying attention – coastal sunrises, waves, dunes, the quiet corners of the shoreline I keep coming back to, each with a short passage about what I noticed or was thinking about when I took the shot.

I made this because taking pictures is genuinely the thing that gets me to slow down, and I wanted to share that in a simple way. If it does the same for you, great. If you just like the photos, that’s enough too.
