The Story Behind “Sunrise at Black Point”
Sunrise at Black Point delivered everything I dream of in a dramatic seascape—wild surf, explosive waves, and that fleeting golden light that makes everything feel unforgettable.
Captured at just the right moment, the waves collided with the rocks in a spray of white fury, while a few fishermen in the distance added scale and grounded the chaos with quiet presence. Rays of sunlight broke through the clouds, illuminating the scene with warmth and magic.
This photograph brings the raw, powerful beauty of Black Point into your home or office, serving as a reminder of the energy, drama, and wonder that nature offers when we arrive early enough to witness it. Perfect for collectors of dynamic coastal photography or anyone seeking to bring bold natural beauty into their space.
Limited Edition Information
An edition of 25, and then it’s closed.
You get a 12×18 inch image printed on 13×19 inch archival paper. I print it myself. Each print is signed, titled and numbered.
The story behind the photograph comes with it, printed on 9×11 fine art paper, along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Artist’s proofs (AP) are also made. They are numbered and marked AP, and I use them at my discretion.
Open Edition Information
Open Edition prints are made by Blazing Editions, a fine art print studio I’ve worked with for over a decade. I’ve been through their shop and watched how they work. They print to order with archival pigment inks, on paper or metal, and I trust them with my images.
Paper or Metal?
Paper gives you the most detail and the traditional look. Metal is glossy, vivid and tough, and it hangs without a frame.
Both use archival materials and archival pigment inks.
These are fine art prints. Frames are not included.
Which Size?
When in doubt, I’d go a size up.
The Print Size Guide shows how each size looks in a room.
Shipping & Handling
Every print is made to order and packed with care.
