The Story Behind “Winter at the Gazebo”
Roger Williams Park is lively throughout the year, but winter brings a quiet solitude. One frigid evening, I wandered through the park and stumbled across the gazebo and its frozen pond. The barren trees and reflective ice created a moody composition that immediately drew me in.
Winter at the Gazebo highlights the quiet drama of winter—the interplay of stillness and texture, ice and structure, and the serene, almost meditative atmosphere of a deserted park. Ideal for homes, offices, or gallery spaces, this print brings a contemplative and peaceful energy to any wall.
Limited Edition Information
An edition of 25, and then it’s closed.
You get a 12×18 inch image printed on 13×19 inch archival paper. I print it myself. Each print is signed, titled and numbered.
The story behind the photograph comes with it, printed on 9×11 fine art paper, along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Artist’s proofs (AP) are also made. They are numbered and marked AP, and I use them at my discretion.
Open Edition Information
Open Edition prints are made by Blazing Editions, a fine art print studio I’ve worked with for over a decade. I’ve been through their shop and watched how they work. They print to order with archival pigment inks, on paper or metal, and I trust them with my images.
Paper or Metal?
Paper gives you the most detail and the traditional look. Metal is glossy, vivid and tough, and it hangs without a frame.
Both use archival materials and archival pigment inks.
These are fine art prints. Frames are not included.
