This is the print from the first morning I actually stopped at Salter Grove instead of driving past it. I had known this spot for years without really knowing it, the way you can live somewhere and still overlook what is right in front of you. Standing there before sunrise, with the world still dark and the water calm, I finally saw why I should have stopped sooner. Hang this where you will be reminded that the places worth noticing are sometimes the ones you have been driving past all along.
