This is the print from Siesta Key, the beach my dad first brought me to at sunset with a camera in hand. I go back as often as I can, and every time, I photograph the beach sign on the way in — a small ritual that has nothing to do with the shot and everything to do with the place. That white sand, those colors at the end of the day — this is why I keep coming back.
