At Block Island, every location has a voice, a rhythm, and this scene spoke loudly. I spent hours observing the coastline, waiting for the perfect light to illuminate the cliffs and the curve of the shore.
The water constantly moved, shaping the story in real time. I framed the scene to capture the natural curve of the shoreline leading toward the cliffs, letting the motion of the waves remain fluid and dynamic. The final image reflects the energy, motion, and quiet drama of that unforgettable moment.

Limited Edition Information
An edition of 25, and then it’s closed.
You get a 12×18 inch image printed on 13×19 inch archival paper. I print it myself. Each print is signed, titled and numbered.
The story behind the photograph comes with it, printed on 9×11 fine art paper, along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Artist’s proofs (AP) are also made. They are numbered and marked AP, and I use them at my discretion.
Open Edition Information
Open Edition prints are made by Blazing Editions, a fine art print studio I’ve worked with for over a decade. I’ve been through their shop and watched how they work. They print to order with archival pigment inks, on paper or metal, and I trust them with my images.
Paper or Metal?
Paper gives you the most detail and the traditional look. Metal is glossy, vivid and tough, and it hangs without a frame.
Both use museum-grade archival materials and archival pigment inks.
These are fine art prints. Frames are not included.
