Landscape Photography is my Passion
Fine art landscape photography is one of my greatest passions. There are few things as exciting and challenging as standing in front of a beautiful landscape with my camera. Knowing that I am going use my skills to create a fine art print from the scene gets my creative juices flowing!
The Tree on the Hill
New England is full of scenes that are ideal for landscape photography. From the miles of seashore at the coast to the mountains up north and the cities and farms in between I can find subjects for landscape photography easily within a short drive from my home. On this evening I had headed out to Connecticut to check on a field of sunflowers. Sadly, I was a bit early for the sunflowers, but it was beautiful evening for landscape photography. There are so many fields, barns and old farmhouses that I was not at a loss for a subject.
My favorite photograph of the evening is the one that you see here, a pair of trees sitting on the top of a hill. I really liked the cat-o-9-tails in the foreground, and the overall warm feel of the scene.
