Seascape Photography at Sachuset Point in Middletown, Rhode Island
Last weekend I headed out to Sachuest Point in Middletown, Rhode Island to check out a Seascape Photography workshop that the Photographic Society of Rhode Island hosted with photographer Ed King of 02809 Photography.
Sixteen members of the club joined Ed at dawn to photograph the seashore at sunrise, and put some of the tips and tricks that Ed taught us in his presentation Tuesday night. The morning was cold to say the least, but everyone was bundled up to stay warm!
Personally, I spent much of the time taking photographs of the workshop members as they learned from Ed, and did not take many seascape photographs myself, but it was still a wonderful morning. I found that some of my favorite photographs tended to be silhouette images as the photographers climbed all over the rocky coast line.
