Friday Night Car Show Photography
Nothing says summer in Rhode Island like a Friday night car show! And when I hear the words car show, I thing photography. With sleek lines and eye catching colors, cars make great subjects for photography. Perhaps it is getting low to the ground to get a full shot of the cars, or perhaps its using a macro lens to photograph the many details of the cars. Either way, the photography is always something special!
On summer nights you can count on the folks over at Crestar Picture Framing in East Greenwich to host their Friday Night Car Show! From classic cars from a long gone era, to this years latest models, you will see cars of all makes and models! Add in a DJ playing all the hits from the 50’s and 60’s, and you can easily get lost in time. Last night was no exception, and my wife and I had a nice time wandering around the cars, talking with the owners and making photographs. Even managed to get off a few frames that I was happy with!

As we wandered around the car show I noticed this lineup of cars, from a brand new Chevy Corvette, to a Classic SS in the back! What caught my eye was the vivid display of color, and the variety of shapes.
