The Reflection of Fall Colors for Landscape Photography
As a landscape photographer I love photographing the reflections of fall colors. As I drive around Rhode Island during fall, I find myself exploring the small ponds and reservoirs around the state. It is these small, still bodies of water that are like mirrors reflecting the rich reds, yellows, and orange of the fall colors.
Reflections of Falls Colors
Each year I make sure to swing by Westconnaug Reservoir in the village of Clayville, Rhode Island. What I love about this location is how the sunset shines its golden light onto the trees on the opposite side of the water.
The colors at this location never fail to disappoint me! Maybe it is the water, maybe it is the sunlight. Whatever it is, the place is simply magical. This year has certainly been a great year to see the fall colors around the state, and I hope that you were able to get out and enjoy a little of it yourself!
