Hey You – Wanna Learn Bird Photography?

Looking for a Web Site with Information about Bird Photography?

Make no mistake about it, I am NOT into bird photography. I have tried, and it is not my thing. I like birds, I love them actually, and enjoy feeding them and watching them fly around in the yard. I will spend countless hours sitting out in the yard watching their comical antics, but I don’t have the patience for bird photography. I simply cannot get passionate about it like I can other forms of photography, such as landscape or seascape. However, sometimes you run across a blog or website that has so much great information that you cannot help but read it, and then share it.

Bird photographer Bill Majoros has put together a web site called “Secrets of Digital Bird Photography – Tools and Techniques”. However, this is really more then a photography web site, it is more like a photography encyclopedia. This web site is probably the best resource on the web for all aspects of bird photography. His web site will teach you about equipment, technique, post processing, and just about every other aspect of bird photography. So what does this web site charge for all of this information? Well, here is the kicker – it is all free! Nothing, nada, zip, zilch, the donut. Hey, did I mention that getting access to all of this information is free?

But wait, there’s more! Even though I am not into bird photography, I still go to this site all the time! Why? Simply because a lot of this great information also applies to other types of photography as well! There is just so much information that can be taken and applied to my work that I cannot help but learn something new each time I visit.

Spring is right around the corner, and it won’t be long before you are out and about, camera in hand taking photographs of nature coming back to life. Take some time now to learn a few tricks to help you improve your photography!
